Prizes
Iska Press runs two distinct prize programmes: the Iska Book Prize, for book-length prose and hybrid manuscripts, and the Iskanchi Magazine Prize, for work published in Iskanchi Magazine. They are judged separately and recognize different kinds of writing.
Iska Book Prize
Celebrates outstanding prose and hybrid manuscripts — irreverent, nonconforming, experimental work by emerging and established African writers worldwide.
Iskanchi Magazine Prize
An annual award for outstanding work published in Iskanchi Magazine. All work submitted to and published in a regular issue is automatically considered.
