Priscilla Okoye is a Nigerian poet and writer whose work explores migration, memory, identity, belonging, and the ways people carry home with them. Her poetry draws on cultural memory, personal experience, and the stories held within ordinary objects, places, language, and traditions.
Her poems have been published in The Other Side of Hope, the UK’s first Literary Magazine of Sanctuary, and The Literary Platform. Her work often moves between the personal and the communal, reflecting on displacement, motherhood, home, inheritance, and the experience of finding and making home across places.
Alongside her writing, Priscilla works with migrant and refugee women and communities, an experience that continues to inform her creative practice. She is also the author of Mommy’s Many Arms, her debut children’s picture book.
